Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive healthcare team located in the heart of Saint Pierre, Moka District. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone eager to make a tangible difference in community health, providing crucial support on the counter and delivering outstanding service to our valued customers. In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and often the first point of contact for many, ensuring a welcoming, smooth, and supportive experience for every visitor to the pharmacy.
Your primary focus will be on delivering exemplary counter service, which includes accurately receiving and processing prescription orders, efficiently handling over-the-counter sales, and providing insightful, clear information on a wide range of non-prescription products and health queries. You will expertly manage cash and card transactions, ensuring meticulous record-keeping, and assist with general inquiries, always striving to exceed customer expectations while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and care. Beyond direct patient interaction, you will play a key part in maintaining the operational efficiency and impeccable standards of the pharmacy environment. This involves diligently managing inventory levels, ensuring shelves are consistently stocked and well-organised, monitoring product expiry dates to ensure safety and compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the retail and dispensing areas. Your contribution ensures that the pharmacy operates smoothly and efficiently, making essential health products readily available.
Working closely with licensed pharmacists, you will also provide essential support in the preparation and dispensing of medications, accurately labeling prescriptions, and assisting with patient consultations, all while strictly adhering to all regulatory guidelines, company policies, and safety protocols. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, and can approach every interaction with empathy, discretion, and professionalism. If you are a proactive problem-solver, committed to continuous learning and personal development within the healthcare sector, and ready to contribute positively to a collaborative team environment, this role offers a fulfilling and impactful career path. Join us in our mission to enhance health and wellness in the community through dedicated service, expert support, and a patient-centered approach.
