Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process prescriptions accurately under pharmacist supervision.
- Prepare and label dispensed medications according to prescription details and legal requirements.
- Maintain high standards of stock control, including ordering, receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
- Provide excellent customer service, handling patient queries and directing them appropriately.
- Assist pharmacists with patient consultations and medication advice where applicable.
- Ensure all dispensed items are thoroughly checked for accuracy and quality.
- Manage patient records efficiently and confidentially.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised pharmacy environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, GPhC standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Support the wider pharmacy team in daily operations and administrative tasks.
Required Skills
- Prior experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting (minimum 6 months).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and pharmacy dispensing software.
