Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, rotating, and monitoring expiry dates of supplies.
  • Provide friendly, respectful, and efficient customer service, addressing patient queries and directing them to pharmacists for professional consultation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with all privacy regulations.
  • Process patient transactions, handle payments, and manage cash registers with precision.
  • Assist with the preparation of medication orders, including counting, packaging, and labeling for distribution.
  • Ensure the pharmacy premises are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, adhering to strict health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, record-keeping, and answering incoming phone calls.
  • Diligently learn and strictly adhere to all pharmacy policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
