Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medication, including counting, labelling, and packaging prescriptions accurately.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, checking expiry dates, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer patient inquiries, and direct them appropriately.
- Process patient transactions and manage cash handling, adhering to company policies.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with regulations.
- Assist in preparing and compounding medications under direct supervision, if applicable.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as pharmacy best practices.
- Support general administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy.
- Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to provide seamless patient care.
Required Skills
- Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Levels, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English required, additional languages a plus).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- A keen eye for detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a customer service role is a plus.
