Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in the accurate and safe dispensing of medications, adhering strictly to standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking shelves, monitoring expiry dates, and ensuring proper storage conditions for pharmaceutical products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients, answering routine inquiries, locating products, and guiding them through their pharmacy experience.
- Process prescription requests, handle patient information with confidentiality, and maintain meticulous patient records in the pharmacy management system.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process cash and electronic transactions accurately, and reconcile daily sales.
- Ensure the cleanliness, tidiness, and organization of the pharmacy area, including consultation rooms and waiting areas, to maintain a professional and hygienic environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports as required by the pharmacy team.
- Adhere to all company policies, as well as local health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patients.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in pharmacy operations and patient care.
