Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting patients with inquiries, locating products, and making recommendations for over-the-counter medications.
- Support the dispensing process by accurately preparing prescriptions under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including receiving, unpacking, stocking shelves, and ensuring product rotation and expiry date checks.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and managing patient profiles.
- Educate customers on proper medication usage, side effects, and general health information.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other team members to ensure seamless pharmacy operations and patient care.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within a retail or healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
