We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our dynamic team in Nyanya, Abuja. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, directing them to the appropriate products or services.
  • Process over-the-counter sales accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash and electronic payments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pharmacy counter and retail area, ensuring products are correctly priced and displayed.
  • Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with non-dispensing tasks, such as preparing medication orders for collection and managing prescription queues.
  • Monitor inventory levels for over-the-counter products, assisting with stock replenishment and stock rotation.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate complex matters to the pharmacist as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Provide basic information on common over-the-counter remedies and health products, referring complex medical queries to the pharmacist.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations at all times.
  • Support promotional activities and customer loyalty programs as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
