Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, directing them to the appropriate products or services.
- Process over-the-counter sales accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash and electronic payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pharmacy counter and retail area, ensuring products are correctly priced and displayed.
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with non-dispensing tasks, such as preparing medication orders for collection and managing prescription queues.
- Monitor inventory levels for over-the-counter products, assisting with stock replenishment and stock rotation.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate complex matters to the pharmacist as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Provide basic information on common over-the-counter remedies and health products, referring complex medical queries to the pharmacist.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations at all times.
- Support promotional activities and customer loyalty programs as required.
