Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, addressing their inquiries and guiding them to relevant products.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide information on over-the-counter medications, health supplements, and general merchandise, referring complex queries to a registered Pharmacist.
- Assist with stock management, including receiving, unpacking, stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and conducting inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor and pharmacy waiting area.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and health regulations.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support the Pharmacist and other team members with various administrative tasks as required.
- Educate customers on loyalty programs and promotions to enhance their shopping experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum of OND/SSCE certificate.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for POS operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle cash and payment transactions accurately.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, customer service, or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical products and general health awareness.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Ability to speak local languages (e.g., Yoruba) is a plus.
