Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and safely under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Compound and prepare pharmaceutical products according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding their medication, including dosage, administration, and potential side effects.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating pharmaceutical supplies.
- Maintain precise patient records and ensure confidentiality in line with GDPR and healthcare regulations.
- Assist pharmacists with clinical duties, medication reconciliation, and patient consultations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant professional, legal, and ethical standards within pharmacy practice.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay updated with best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing and record-keeping.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and basic computer applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or eligible for registration.
