Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label prescribed medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Manage and maintain pharmacy stock levels, including ordering, receiving, storing, and rotating pharmaceuticals.
- Process prescriptions, ensuring all necessary details are correct and complete.
- Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, side effects, and general health inquiries.
- Prepare and compound medications as required, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with GDPR and other regulations.
- Assist with clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or retail setting.
- Hold a recognized qualification as a Pharmacy Technician (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent).
- Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical calculations, drug classifications, and common dosages.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and general IT skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing and record-keeping.
