Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute diverse photography assignments, including studio shoots, on-location events, portraits, product photography, and corporate imagery.
- Collaborate closely with clients and our creative team to understand project briefs, visual requirements, and desired outcomes.
- Manage all aspects of photography production, including equipment setup, lighting, styling, shot composition, and subject direction.
- Perform professional photo editing, retouching, and colour correction using industry-standard software to enhance image quality and consistency.
- Maintain and manage photographic equipment, ensuring it is always in optimal working condition and available for use.
- Organize and catalogue digital assets efficiently, ensuring easy retrieval and adherence to company archiving standards.
- Stay updated with the latest photography trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve skills and output.
- Provide creative input and recommendations during pre-production meetings to optimize visual concepts and execution.
- Ensure all photographic content adheres to brand guidelines and legal requirements for usage and licensing.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional photography experience with a strong, diverse portfolio.
- Exceptional proficiency with professional DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems and lenses.
- Expert knowledge of lighting techniques, both natural and artificial, for various environments.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-production and retouching.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and colour theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively direct subjects and collaborate with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Familiarity with studio management and equipment maintenance protocols.
