Job Description
Alwan Studio is seeking a highly talented and experienced Freelance Photographer specializing in creative shoots to join our dynamic team in Mansoura, Dakahlia. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visually innovative and technically proficient individual to contribute to a diverse range of projects, from compelling portraits and vibrant event coverage to intricate product photography and impactful lifestyle campaigns. As a freelance creative shoot photographer, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, planning, and executing shoots that align with our artistic vision and client objectives. You will be responsible for bringing fresh perspectives, unique compositions, and expert lighting techniques to every assignment. We are looking for someone who not only captures images but also tells compelling stories through their lens, infusing each shot with emotion, style, and originality. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and creative directors to understand project briefs, objectives, and desired artistic direction for each shoot.
- Develop creative concepts, mood boards, and shot lists that align with project goals and brand aesthetics.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including scouting locations within Mansoura and surrounding areas, arranging props, and coordinating models or subjects.
- Execute high-quality photographic sessions using professional equipment, demonstrating expert control over lighting, composition, and camera settings.
- Direct subjects effectively to achieve desired poses, expressions, and narratives.
- Perform post-production tasks, including culling, editing, retouching, and color grading using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Ensure timely delivery of final edited images, adhering to project deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain and organize photographic equipment, ensuring it is always in optimal working condition.
- Continuously research and experiment with new photography techniques, styles, and equipment to enhance creative output.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and collaborators.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional DSLR/Mirrorless camera operation and advanced photography techniques.
- Expert knowledge of lighting principles (natural and artificial) and ability to use various lighting equipment.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Capture One for image editing and retouching.
- Strong creative vision and an exceptional eye for composition, detail, and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct subjects and collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing creative and technical photography skills.
- Ability to work independently as a freelancer, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
