Key Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute photographic shoots for events, portraits, and studio assignments.
- Operate and maintain professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and other studio tools.
- Collaborate with clients and creative teams to understand project briefs and deliver visual content that meets objectives.
- Perform extensive post-production, including culling, editing, retouching, colour correction, and image manipulation using industry-standard software.
- Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring proper filing, archiving, and backup procedures.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously enhance photographic skills and output.
- Ensure all photographic work adheres to brand guidelines, quality standards, and client specifications.
- Provide creative input and suggestions during concept development and execution phases.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional DSLR/Mirrorless camera systems and accessories
- Expertise in studio lighting techniques (strobes, continuous lights, modifiers)
- Strong understanding of natural light and on-location lighting solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other editing software
- Exceptional eye for composition, colour, and detail
- Proven portfolio showcasing diverse experience in event, portrait, and studio photography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field
- Experience with videography and video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Familiarity with drone photography/videography (licence preferred)
- Experience in client-facing roles and project management within a creative agency setting
- Knowledge of digital asset management (DAM) systems
