Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Photographer to join our thriving creative department in Kensington, Liverpool. This diverse role requires a versatile visual artist capable of excelling across various photographic disciplines, including dynamic event coverage, intimate portrait sessions, and meticulous studio product or conceptual shoots. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, set up, and execute photographic shoots for events, individual portraits, and studio-based assignments (product, lifestyle, conceptual).
  • Operate professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and other studio accessories with expertise.
  • Perform post-production tasks including culling, colour correction, retouching, and final image delivery using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
  • Collaborate closely with clients and creative teams to understand project briefs, conceptualize ideas, and deliver visuals that align with objectives.
  • Manage and maintain photography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition and calibrated.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously enhance photographic skills and output.
  • Organize and archive digital assets efficiently, ensuring easy retrieval and secure storage.
  • Provide creative input and recommendations on visual direction, props, and styling to enhance shoot outcomes.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a professional photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing event, portrait, and studio work.
  • Expertise in operating professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, and various lighting equipment (strobes, continuous, modifiers).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Lightroom Classic and Photoshop for advanced editing and retouching.
  • Exceptional understanding of photographic principles, including composition, exposure, colour theory, and depth of field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct subjects and interact professionally with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, impactful imagery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience with video production and editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems.
