Key Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute photographic shoots for events, individual portraits, and studio-based assignments (product, lifestyle, conceptual).
- Operate professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and other studio accessories with expertise.
- Perform post-production tasks including culling, colour correction, retouching, and final image delivery using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Collaborate closely with clients and creative teams to understand project briefs, conceptualize ideas, and deliver visuals that align with objectives.
- Manage and maintain photography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition and calibrated.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously enhance photographic skills and output.
- Organize and archive digital assets efficiently, ensuring easy retrieval and secure storage.
- Provide creative input and recommendations on visual direction, props, and styling to enhance shoot outcomes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing event, portrait, and studio work.
- Expertise in operating professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, and various lighting equipment (strobes, continuous, modifiers).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Lightroom Classic and Photoshop for advanced editing and retouching.
- Exceptional understanding of photographic principles, including composition, exposure, colour theory, and depth of field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct subjects and interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, impactful imagery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Photography, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with video production and editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems.
