Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, set up, and execute photography shoots for events, portraits, and studio productions, adhering to project briefs and deadlines.
  • Operate and maintain professional camera equipment, including DSLRs/mirrorless systems, lenses, lighting, and other necessary gear.
  • Direct subjects and models effectively to capture desired expressions, poses, and compositions in various settings.
  • Perform advanced post-production editing, retouching, and colour correction using industry-standard software to enhance image quality and artistic impact.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, marketing teams, and designers to conceptualize, plan, and deliver visual content that meets project objectives.
  • Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and archiving of all photographic work.
  • Stay abreast of the latest photography techniques, equipment, and industry trends to continually improve skills and offerings.
  • Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and provide expert advice on visual strategies for various campaigns.

Required Skills

  • Proven proficiency in operating professional-grade camera equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless systems) and associated accessories.
  • Expert-level knowledge and practical application of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom, for comprehensive image editing.
  • An outstanding portfolio showcasing a diverse range of photography styles, including event coverage, portraiture, and studio setups.
  • Comprehensive understanding and practical mastery of various lighting techniques (natural, artificial, studio flash) for optimal image capture.
  • Exceptional creative vision, an acute eye for detail, composition, and colour theory.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a closely related field.
  • Experience in video production, including shooting and basic editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong client communication and project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing client relationships from concept to delivery.
  • Knowledge of digital asset management systems and best practices.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for on-location shoots.
