Key Responsibilities

- Consult extensively with clients to thoroughly understand their vision, objectives, and specific photographic requirements for each unique project.
- Strategically plan and meticulously prepare for shoots, including scouting locations, coordinating logistics, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in optimal working order.
- Capture high-quality, impactful images using professional-grade photography equipment, demonstrating advanced expertise in composition, lighting, exposure, and artistic direction.
- Perform comprehensive post-production work, including precise editing, meticulous color correction, advanced retouching, and efficient cataloging of images to meet client specifications and strict deadlines.
- Deliver final edited images in specified formats and resolutions, ensuring absolute client satisfaction and strict adherence to agreed-upon timelines.
- Maintain a highly professional demeanor and provide exceptional client service and communication throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Proactively manage and meticulously maintain personal professional photography equipment, ensuring it is always in optimal, ready-to-use condition.

Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable professional freelance photography experience, with a strong emphasis on events and commercial sectors.
- Expert proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras, a comprehensive range of lenses, advanced lighting equipment, and essential accessories.
- Advanced skills in industry-standard photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) and a strong, efficient post-production workflow management.
- A compelling and diverse portfolio demonstrating significant versatility across various event and commercial photography styles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse clients.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to various client locations across St. Andrew and surrounding metropolitan areas.
- A strong understanding of visual storytelling, brand aesthetics, and marketing objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
