Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute photoshoots for various events (corporate, social, weddings, private gatherings) and commercial projects (products, lifestyle, portraits, architecture).
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and specific photography requirements and deliver against briefs.
- Manage all aspects of photography, including equipment setup, optimal lighting (natural and artificial), staging, and subject direction on-site.
- Conduct professional post-production, including editing, retouching, color correction, and grading, using industry-standard software.
- Deliver high-resolution, print-ready, and web-optimised images within agreed deadlines and formatting specifications.
- Maintain and continuously update a professional portfolio showcasing diverse work and artistic range.
- Adhere strictly to client brand guidelines and stylistic preferences for commercial assignments to ensure brand consistency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in event photography (e.g., corporate functions, social gatherings, weddings).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in commercial photography (e.g., product, lifestyle, corporate headshots, architecture).
- Advanced proficiency with professional-grade DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, and associated photography equipment.
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant editing and retouching software.
- Excellent understanding of lighting techniques (natural, studio flash, continuous lighting) and composition principles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and project management.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently meet tight deadlines.
