Career.zycto is seeking a dynamic Events & Commercial Photographer to join our network of elite creative professionals in Bodles, Old Harbour, St. Catherine. We partner with various clients, from local businesses and startups to larger organizations, requiring top-tier photographic services for their events, marketing campaigns, product launches, corporate profiles, and more. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients and project managers to understand photography briefs, objectives, and desired outcomes for events and commercial shoots.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute photography sessions on location in Bodles, Old Harbour, and surrounding areas, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functional.
  • Capture high-quality, professional images for a wide range of assignments including corporate events, social gatherings, product photography, lifestyle shoots, headshots, and marketing materials.
  • Demonstrate strong compositional skills, lighting techniques, and an understanding of visual storytelling to produce captivating imagery.
  • Manage digital assets, including efficient file organization, backup, and delivery.
  • Perform professional post-production editing, including colour correction, retouching, cropping, and other necessary adjustments to client specifications, using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
  • Meet strict deadlines and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide a positive and professional experience for clients, representing Career.zycto with integrity and expertise.
  • Maintain and continuously upgrade personal photography equipment, ensuring it meets professional standards.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflow and image quality.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with professional-grade DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and a diverse range of lenses.
  • Expertise in studio and natural lighting techniques, including off-camera flash (OCF).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-processing and retouching.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a breadth of event and commercial photography work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Reliable transportation for on-site assignments across Bodles, Old Harbour, and nearby areas.
  • A keen eye for detail, composition, and visual storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, Media Production, or a related field.
  • Experience with videography or drone photography for additional service offerings.
  • Knowledge of local businesses and event venues in Bodles, Old Harbour and St. Catherine.
  • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management and project coordination.
  • Membership in professional photography associations.
