As a Freelance Photographer with Career.zycto, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality photographs for a diverse range of assignments. On the events side, this could involve covering corporate functions, social gatherings, weddings, concerts, festivals, or community events, requiring a dynamic approach to candid and posed shots, often in fast-paced environments. For commercial projects, you might find yourself shooting product photography, branding campaigns, real estate, portraits for business use, or lifestyle imagery, all demanding a meticulous eye for composition, lighting, and brand alignment.
We are looking for someone who not only possesses advanced technical skills with professional-grade camera equipment and lighting but also demonstrates strong post-production expertise using industry-standard software. Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photography for a variety of event types including corporate, social, and private functions.
- Capture compelling commercial imagery for products, branding, real estate, and professional portraits.
- Consult with clients to understand project requirements, vision, and desired outcomes.
- Utilize professional-grade photography equipment, lighting, and accessories to achieve superior results.
- Perform advanced post-production editing, color correction, retouching, and image manipulation using Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Manage and organize large volumes of digital assets efficiently, ensuring proper backup and delivery.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver final edited images within agreed-upon deadlines.
- Maintain open communication with clients and the Career.zycto team throughout project lifecycle.
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously enhance photographic skills.
- Represent Career.zycto professionally during all client interactions and on-site assignments.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in event photography (candid, documentary, posed shots).
- Strong portfolio showcasing commercial photography work (products, lifestyle, portraits, real estate).
- Proficiency in operating professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-processing.
- Excellent understanding of photographic principles: composition, lighting, exposure, and color theory.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to various shooting environments.
- Reliable transportation for on-site assignments in and around Priory, St. Ann.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Knowledge of drone photography/videography regulations and operation.
- Ability to create dynamic social media content from photographic assignments.
- Experience working with diverse clients and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with marketing and branding principles.
