Career.zycto is actively seeking a talented and versatile Freelance Photographer specializing in both Event and Commercial photography to join our dynamic network in Papine, Kingston. As a freelance photographer, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality visual content for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from corporate events, conferences, product launches, and gala dinners to private functions, and community gatherings. On the commercial front, your expertise will extend to editorial shoots, branding campaigns, e-commerce product photography, lifestyle shots, and corporate headshots, all designed to elevate our clients’ visual presence and narrative.
We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of lighting techniques, advanced composition principles, and the innate ability to adapt swiftly to various photographic environments and diverse client briefs. Your role will encompass the entire photographic process: from initial conceptualization and meticulous planning of shoots, through expert execution on location or in studio, to precise post-production, including editing, retouching, and color grading. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand photography briefs and project objectives.
- Plan and execute on-site photography sessions for events (corporate, private, public) and commercial assignments (product, lifestyle, corporate).
- Utilize professional-grade camera equipment, lighting, and accessories to capture high-quality images.
- Direct subjects and manage scenes to achieve desired visual outcomes.
- Perform extensive post-production, including culling, editing, retouching, and colour correction using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Ensure timely delivery of final images in required formats, adhering to brand guidelines and client specifications.
- Maintain and organize photographic equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Continuously develop technical skills and stay updated with photography trends and technologies.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional DSLR/Mirrorless camera operation and lighting techniques.
- Expertise in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing and retouching.

- Proven experience in both event photography (capturing candid moments, dynamic scenes) and commercial photography (product, lifestyle, corporate headshots).

- A compelling online portfolio showcasing diverse work in event and commercial photography.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations within Kingston and surrounding areas.
