Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photography for various events (e.g., conferences, weddings, concerts, university functions).
- Conduct professional commercial shoots for products, brands, and editorial content.
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision and brief, ensuring deliverables align with expectations.
- Manage all aspects of photography from planning and setup to shooting and post-production.
- Utilize advanced photographic equipment and software effectively to achieve desired results.
- Edit and retouch images to a professional standard, adhering to brand guidelines and deadlines.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate various client assignments, including evenings and weekends.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Deliver final edited images in specified formats and resolutions within agreed timelines.
- Continuously develop and refine photographic skills and techniques, staying updated on industry trends.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional-grade camera equipment and accessories (DSLR/Mirrorless).
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop) for post-production.
- Proven experience in event photography, capturing dynamic and candid moments.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing commercial photography work (product, lifestyle, corporate).
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
- Legal authorization to work as a freelance professional in Jamaica.
