As a Freelance Events & Commercial Photographer, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality visual content that tells compelling stories and meets specific client objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute high-quality photographic shoots for events and commercial projects.
- Operate professional camera equipment, lighting, and other accessories proficiently.
- Direct subjects and manage scenes to achieve desired visual outcomes.
- Perform post-production tasks including culling, colour correction, retouching, and cropping using industry-standard software.
- Deliver final edited images in various formats according to client specifications and deadlines.
- Maintain and organize photographic equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, event organizers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and vision.
- Adhere to project budgets and timelines, managing multiple assignments as needed.
- Uphold a professional demeanour and represent Career.zycto's standards of excellence at all times.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional-grade camera equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless) and accessories.
- Expertise in photographic techniques, including lighting, composition, and exposure.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or other professional editing software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse event and commercial photography work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations within St. Andrew and surrounding parishes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Familiarity with studio photography setups and techniques.
- Drone photography certification and experience.
