Career.zycto is actively seeking a talented and passionate Freelance Photographer with a keen eye for detail and a knack for capturing dynamic moments in both event and commercial settings. As our freelance photographer, you will be instrumental in documenting a variety of events – from corporate gatherings, conferences, product launches, and gala dinners to more intimate social events and community initiatives. Your commercial assignments will involve working with businesses to create stunning product photography, impactful corporate portraits, engaging brand imagery, and captivating marketing content that resonates with their target audience. This role demands not only technical proficiency but also a strong understanding of lighting, composition, and post-production techniques. You’ll be expected to work autonomously, manage your own schedule for assigned projects, and ensure timely delivery of polished, professional images. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute photography assignments for various events (corporate, social, community) and commercial projects (product, lifestyle, corporate portraits).
- Utilize professional-grade camera equipment, lighting, and accessories to capture high-quality images.
- Edit and retouch photographs to meet specified brand guidelines and aesthetic standards, ensuring consistent quality.
- Manage and organize digital assets, including raw files and final edited images.
- Collaborate closely with clients and our team to understand project requirements and deliver on creative briefs.
- Adhere to deadlines and communicate effectively regarding project progress and any potential challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of photography trends, equipment, and software.
- Ensure all shoots are conducted professionally, representing Career.zycto and its clients with integrity.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in event photography (minimum 2 years).
- Proven experience in commercial photography (minimum 2 years).
- Expertise in operating professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and associated lenses.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for image editing and post-production.
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques, both natural and artificial.
- Excellent composition and framing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of event and commercial work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal qualification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with studio photography setups and equipment.
- Knowledge of videography and video editing is a plus.
- Ability to provide your own professional liability insurance.
