Career.zycto is seeking talented and passionate freelance Photographers specializing in both events and commercial projects to join our network in Anchovy, St. James. As a freelance photographer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality visual content that meets client specifications and exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their photography needs and vision for each project.
- Plan and execute photoshoots for events (e.g., weddings, parties, corporate functions, community gatherings) and commercial purposes (e.g., product photography, headshots, real estate, branding content).
- Utilize professional-grade camera equipment, lighting, and accessories to achieve desired photographic results.
- Perform post-production tasks including culling, editing, retouching, and color correction using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Deliver final edited images to clients within agreed-upon deadlines and in specified formats.
- Maintain and organize photographic equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Manage scheduling, client communication, and project timelines effectively.
- Actively seek to expand your portfolio and client base within the St. James region.
- Adhere to professional conduct and ethical standards in all client interactions and during shoots.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Event and/or Commercial Photographer.
- Proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.
- Expertise in photo editing software, particularly Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of photographic principles, composition, and lighting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- A compelling online portfolio showcasing relevant event and commercial photography work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal qualification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing is a plus.
- Familiarity with local businesses and event venues in Anchovy and wider St. James.
