Career.zycto is seeking a talented and passionate freelance Photographer specializing in both events and commercial projects to join our network in Black River, St. Elizabeth. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual with a keen eye for detail and a knack for capturing compelling visual stories. As a freelance Photographer, you will be responsible for executing diverse assignments, ranging from high-energy corporate events and intimate social gatherings to dynamic product shots and impactful lifestyle campaigns. We are looking for someone who can not only deliver stunning imagery but also understands the importance of client communication, project management, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and deliver high-quality photographs for various events (e.g., corporate functions, weddings, parties, public gatherings).
- Execute commercial photography assignments, including product photography, lifestyle shoots, branding imagery, and promotional content.
- Utilize professional-grade camera equipment, lighting setups, and other accessories to achieve desired artistic and technical results.
- Perform comprehensive post-production work, including editing, retouching, color correction, and formatting, to meet client specifications and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and specific photography requirements for each project.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of final images.
- Maintain and organize photographic equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
- Adhere to professional ethical standards and copyright laws.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional-grade DSLR/mirrorless cameras and lenses.
- Expertise in photographic lighting techniques (natural, artificial, studio).
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse experience in event and commercial photography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Reliable transportation to various shoot locations within St. Elizabeth and surrounding areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal training or degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with videography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Knowledge of current photography trends and visual storytelling techniques specific to the Jamaican market.
