Career.zycto is seeking a talented and passionate freelance Photographer specializing in events and commercial work to join our network of creative professionals in Negril, Jamaica. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute photography shoots for various events (e.g., weddings, conferences, festivals) and commercial projects (e.g., product, lifestyle, real estate).
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and specific photography requirements.
- Utilize professional photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and other accessories, to achieve high-quality results.
- Apply expert knowledge of lighting, composition, and framing to capture visually stunning and impactful images.
- Perform post-production tasks, including culling, retouching, color correction, and editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Ensure timely delivery of edited photographs in specified formats according to client agreements.
- Manage and organize digital assets, maintaining a comprehensive archive of project files.
- Maintain professional conduct and a positive attitude while working on-site at client locations.
- Stay updated with photography trends, techniques, and equipment advancements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Events and Commercial Photographer, demonstrated through a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with professional-grade DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for photo editing and post-production.
- Strong understanding of photography principles including composition, lighting, and exposure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Ownership of reliable photography equipment and software.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
