Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality photographic assignments across various genres, including but not limited to events, portraits, products, and lifestyle.
- Operate and maintain professional camera equipment, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories.
- Plan and conceptualize shoots in collaboration with clients or project managers, understanding their vision and requirements.
- Set up and manage lighting, backdrops, and props to achieve desired visual effects and mood.
- Direct subjects effectively to capture natural, engaging, and professional poses.
- Perform professional image post-processing, including culling, colour correction, retouching, and cropping using industry-standard software.
- Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring proper storage, backup, and delivery to clients within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of photography trends, techniques, and equipment.
- Ensure all photographic work adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse work.
- Expert proficiency with professional-grade DSLR or mirrorless camera systems and various lenses.
- Advanced understanding of photographic principles including exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance.
- Demonstrable expertise in natural and artificial lighting techniques, including studio flash and continuous lighting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom for photo editing and retouching.
- Strong compositional skills and an excellent eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and subjects.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with video production and editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Familiarity with drone photography and relevant licensing.
- Experience working with various client briefs across different industries.
