Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute photography sessions in both studio and various event environments.
- Operate and maintain professional camera equipment, advanced lighting setups, and other studio accessories.
- Compose and capture high-quality images that meet specific project requirements and artistic standards.
- Direct subjects, models, or event participants to achieve desired poses, expressions, and authentic moments.
- Perform comprehensive post-production tasks including image culling, precise color correction, intricate retouching, and image manipulation using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Collaborate closely with clients, marketing teams, or event organizers to understand their vision and deliver desired photographic outcomes.
- Manage digital assets efficiently, ensuring proper organization, secure backup, and timely delivery of final images.
- Stay updated with the latest photography trends, evolving equipment technologies, and advanced editing techniques.
- Travel to various event locations across Mauritius as required, often outside of standard business hours.
- Adhere strictly to project deadlines and manage assignments within budget constraints.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras and a variety of lenses.
- Expertise in studio lighting techniques, including strobes, continuous lights, and various modifiers.
