Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physiotherapists in implementing prescribed treatment plans for patients.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities as instructed.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of equipment.
- Apply physical modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation under supervision.
- Monitor and document patient responses, progress, and vital signs during treatment sessions.
- Provide clear and encouraging instructions to patients, promoting active participation in their recovery.
- Assist patients with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including attendance and session notes.
- Communicate effectively with physiotherapists and other healthcare team members regarding patient status and concerns.
- Ensure inventory of supplies and equipment is well-managed and reported for replenishment.
- Adhere strictly to all clinic policies, safety protocols, and professional standards of care.
Required Skills
