Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapist – Rehabilitation to join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team in The Downs, Bristol. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient caseload, encompassing individuals recovering from neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative procedures, and chronic pain, helping them regain function, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized, evidence-based physiotherapy treatment plans.
  • Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions including exercise therapy, manual techniques, and modalities.
  • Provide expert advice and education to patients and their families on rehabilitation goals and self-management.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, including audit, research, and service development.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff or students, contributing to their professional development.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and professional guidelines (HCPC).

Required Skills

  • BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience, with a focus on rehabilitation.
  • Proven experience in assessing and treating a diverse range of rehabilitation conditions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-graduate certification or MSc in a specialist area of rehabilitation (e.g., neurological, musculoskeletal).
  • Experience in a private practice or community rehabilitation setting.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to rehabilitation physiotherapy.
  • Experience in supervising students or junior staff.
