Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, and other complex conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based physiotherapy treatment plans aimed at restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing disability.
- Utilize a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and acupuncture (where qualified).
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plans, self-management strategies, and prevention techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with professional and organizational standards.
- Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to holistic patient care and rehabilitation goals.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills in physiotherapy practice.
- Adhere to all professional codes of conduct, ethical guidelines, and health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and clinical audits to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Required Skills
- BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Eligibility for or current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience as a Physiotherapist.
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
