Key Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments, treatment sessions, and group exercises.
- Guide patients through prescribed individual and group exercise programmes and mobility drills.
- Prepare treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adequate supplies for sessions.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback, reporting observations and any concerns to supervising physiotherapists.
- Assist patients safely with transfers, walking aids, and maintaining independence in daily activities.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records and documentation under supervision.
- Ensure all rehabilitation equipment is safely maintained, cleaned, and stored in accordance with protocols.
- Provide consistent encouragement, motivation, and emotional support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Participate actively in team meetings, departmental reviews, and continuous professional development initiatives.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, clinical governance policies, and ethical guidelines.
