Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pipeline Technician to join our robust team in Wolfsburg. In this critical full-time role, you will be instrumental in the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of various piping systems that transport essential fluids and gases throughout our industrial facilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial pipeline systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, process) according to safety and industry standards.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot mechanical failures, leaks, or blockages.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs to guide installation and repair processes.
  • Operate specialized tools and equipment for pipe fitting, welding, and system testing.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies, especially concerning hazardous materials.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance, repair activities, and system performance records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational continuity and project success.
  • Provide support for emergency response and participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Pipeline Technician or in industrial mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, pressure systems, and piping materials.
  • Proficiency in welding, fitting, and pipe joining techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and engineering specifications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety regulations (e.g., LOTO, confined space).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical capability for demanding tasks in various conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational training or a technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Certifications in welding (e.g., TIG, MIG) or specialized pipe fitting.
  • Experience with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods for pipeline inspection.
  • Knowledge of German industrial standards (e.g., DIN, ISO) and local safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems or automated control systems for pipelines.
