Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with watering, feeding, and general care of plants, ensuring optimal health and growth.
  • Help with potting and re-potting plants, including seedlings and mature specimens.
  • Undertake weeding, pruning, and general maintenance tasks within the nursery.
  • Prepare plants for display and sale, ensuring they are well-presented.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery areas, including potting sheds and greenhouses.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries of plants, soil, and other nursery supplies.
  • Monitor plants for signs of pests or diseases and report findings to senior staff.
  • Provide basic assistance to customers, directing them to specific plants or offering general information when requested.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
