Riu Ocho Rios is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Plumber to join our dynamic maintenance team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers and maintenance technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Learn to identify and troubleshoot common plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and malfunctions.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on pipes, drains, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing apparatus.
- Help with the repair or replacement of faulty parts, such as washers, seals, pipes, and valves.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe during and after plumbing tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites within the resort.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and challenges.
- Respond promptly to plumbing-related emergencies as directed by supervisors.
