Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipework, fittings, fixtures, and drainage systems, in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures for plumbing and drainage systems.
- Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks, blockages, and other issues, using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on existing plumbing infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex plumbing problems, offering effective and lasting solutions.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Select and use appropriate tools and materials for each job, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Document work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide advice and guidance to clients or occupants on plumbing best practices and maintenance.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Plumber, with a strong focus on pipework installation and maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and techniques.
