Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and components in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, pipe damage, and fixture malfunctions.
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Install and repair water heaters, boilers, sump pumps, sewage ejectors, and other plumbing appliances.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan plumbing installations and layouts accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, clearly explaining issues and solutions to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and team members on larger projects.
- Keep work vehicles stocked, organized, and properly maintained with necessary tools and materials.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years (48 months) of verifiable experience as a Plumber.
- Demonstrated expertise in residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Proficiency with all standard plumbing tools and equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards (e.g., IPC, UPC).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Eligibility for a Skilled Trade Visa and willingness to relocate to New York, US.
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification.
- Experience with radiant heating systems and boiler installation/repair.
- Familiarity with green plumbing technologies and water conservation practices.
- Bilingual communication skills (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) are a plus.
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
