Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems for water distribution, drainage, and waste disposal.
- Specialise in the accurate installation of water supply lines, hot water systems, and associated appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams to determine layouts and specifications.
- Inspect plumbing systems for compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and pressure problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Assemble and install valves, fittings, and pumps.
- Operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients, explaining technical issues and proposed solutions clearly and courteously.
- Prepare detailed reports of work performed, materials used, and hours logged.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations on all job sites.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Plumber, with a strong focus on water installation.
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Strong understanding of local plumbing codes and safety regulations in Mauritius.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid driver's license.
