Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on various plumbing systems.
- Prepare work areas, including setting up tools, materials, and safety equipment.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from company vehicles.
- Clean up job sites, ensuring a tidy and safe working environment.
- Dig trenches, cut and thread pipes, and perform other manual labor as directed.
- Learn to identify and use various plumbing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Observe and learn proper plumbing techniques, codes, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools (or willingness to learn rapidly).
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction or trade-related environment (even part-time or volunteer).
- Enrollment or completion of a pre-apprenticeship plumbing program.

- Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
