Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers and technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
- Learn to identify and diagnose plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions.
- Handle and transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
- Prepare work areas by setting up necessary equipment and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Observe and learn proper techniques for pipe cutting, threading, soldering, and fitting.
- Help with digging trenches, installing pipes, and connecting fixtures under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, vehicles, and work sites.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients in a professional manner.
- Attend training sessions and actively participate in learning new skills and techniques.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the plumbing team.
Required Skills
- Eagerness and strong desire to learn the plumbing trade.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bend, stoop, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools is a plus, but not strictly required for a trainee.
