Key Responsibilities
- Edit, mix, and master raw audio recordings into high-quality, professional podcast episodes, ensuring crystal-clear sound, consistent audio levels, and optimal listening experience.
- Implement strategic sound design elements, including custom music, engaging intros/outros, and appropriate sound effects to enhance narrative flow and maximize listener engagement.
- Perform meticulous quality control checks on all audio outputs to ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines, technical specifications, and industry standards.
- Craft compelling, informative, and SEO-friendly show notes, episode descriptions, and social media captions to significantly boost discoverability and audience reach.
- Manage the end-to-end publishing process, including uploading episodes to hosting platforms (e.g., Libsyn, Buzzsprout), meticulously scheduling releases, and distributing to all major podcast directories (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts).
- Collaborate closely and effectively with content creators, marketing teams, and project managers to thoroughly understand episode objectives and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Maintain an organized and accessible library of audio assets, project files, and all associated documentation for easy retrieval and future use.
- Stay continuously informed about the latest podcasting trends, emerging tools, and evolving best practices to continually improve our production workflow and output quality.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance on optimal audio recording practices to remote contributors as needed, ensuring high-quality source material.
Required Skills
