Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced audio editing, mixing, and mastering to produce high-quality podcast episodes.
- Implement noise reduction, equalization, compression, and other audio enhancement techniques.
- Integrate music, sound effects, and voice-overs to create a rich and engaging sonic experience.
- Manage the end-to-end podcast publishing process, including uploading and scheduling episodes.
- Write compelling and SEO-optimized show notes, episode titles, and descriptions.
- Ensure consistent audio quality and brand voice across all podcast series.
- Monitor RSS feeds and troubleshoot any distribution issues across platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends, software, and best practices in podcasting.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to align on editorial calendars and promotional strategies.
- Provide constructive feedback on audio recording quality and best practices to hosts/guests.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in audio editing and podcast production.
- Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or Reaper.
- Strong understanding of audio engineering principles (mixing, mastering, dynamics processing).
- Experience with podcast hosting platforms (e.g., Libsyn, Buzzsprout, Acast).
