As our Podcast Producer, you will be instrumental in the entire lifecycle of our audio projects, from initial concept development and guest booking to intricate sound design and final post-production. You’ll work closely with content strategists, hosts, and marketing teams to ensure our podcasts not only meet our high-quality standards but also deeply resonate with our target audience. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end production of podcast episodes, including pre-production planning, recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.
- Collaborate with content strategists and hosts to develop compelling episode concepts, outlines, and interview questions.
- Conduct thorough research and identify potential guests, coordinating scheduling and logistics for recordings.
- Operate recording equipment and software to capture high-quality audio in various settings.
- Perform advanced audio editing, including noise reduction, equalization, compression, and adding music/sound effects.
- Ensure all podcast content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and best practices for audio accessibility.
- Upload and publish finished episodes to various podcast platforms, including writing show notes and metadata.
- Monitor podcast performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Stay current with podcasting industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance production quality.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in podcast production or audio engineering.
- Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or similar.
- Strong understanding of audio recording techniques, sound design principles, and post-production workflows.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen ear for audio quality.
- Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives through audio.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and talent.
