Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end production of Career.zycto's podcast series, including ideation, scripting, scheduling, recording, and post-production.
- Source, vet, and book high-profile guests, preparing them with detailed briefs and interview questions.
- Conduct engaging interviews, providing clear direction to guests and managing recording sessions effectively.
- Perform audio editing, mixing, mastering, and sound design to ensure high-quality, professional-sounding episodes.
- Write compelling show notes, episode descriptions, and social media copy to promote new releases.
- Oversee the distribution of podcast episodes across all relevant platforms (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts).
- Monitor podcast analytics and audience feedback to identify trends, optimize content strategy, and improve listener engagement.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and design teams to align podcast strategy with broader company objectives.
- Maintain and organize all audio assets, equipment, and production schedules.
- Stay current with podcasting trends, technologies, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Podcast Producer or similar audio production role.
- Expert proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or Pro Tools.
- Strong understanding of audio recording, editing, mixing, and mastering techniques.
- Excellent storytelling and narrative development abilities.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and interview skills.
