Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end production of multiple podcast series, including pre-production, recording, post-production, and distribution.
- Collaborate with content strategists and hosts to develop compelling episode themes, outlines, and scripts that align with brand objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to podcast hosts during recording sessions, ensuring high-quality audio capture and engaging delivery.
- Perform professional audio editing, mixing, and mastering to industry standards, incorporating music, sound effects, and transitions.
- Conduct thorough research to support episode content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Manage episode assets, including audio files, show notes, and promotional materials.
- Implement best practices for audio SEO and discoverability across various podcast platforms.
- Stay current with podcasting trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve production quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to audio recording and production software.
- Contribute to the development of our podcast strategy, identifying new opportunities for growth and audience engagement.
- Ensure all podcast content adheres to legal, ethical, and brand guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or equivalent.
- Strong audio editing, mixing, and mastering skills.
- Demonstrated experience in podcast production, including concept development, scriptwriting, and post-production.
- Excellent understanding of sound design principles and audio storytelling.
- Familiarity with remote recording best practices and tools.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
