Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of existing and proposed policies, legislation, and regulations.
  • Gather, interpret, and synthesize data from various sources to inform policy development and recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed policy briefs, reports, presentations, and other communication materials for diverse audiences.
  • Identify policy gaps, emerging issues, and best practices relevant to organizational objectives and community needs.
  • Assess the potential impacts (social, economic, environmental, political) of policy options.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to gather input and build consensus.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented policies, recommending adjustments as necessary.
  • Participate in stakeholder consultations, workshops, and public engagement activities.
  • Stay abreast of current events, legislative changes, and relevant research in policy areas.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant bodies.
  • Ensure all policy documentation is clear, accurate, and adheres to established guidelines.
