Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport patients, medical records, samples, equipment, and supplies within the facility.
  • Assist with the movement and setup of medical equipment and furniture as required.
  • Collect and deliver mail, parcels, and departmental requisitions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage areas and transport equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including manual handling procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Respond promptly to requests and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Assist with emergency procedures as directed.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
