Key Responsibilities
- Sort and organize mail and parcels for efficient delivery within a designated route.
- Deliver postal items to residential and business addresses in Neustadt, Dresden.
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and delivery issues courteously and professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure proper documentation.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and postal service guidelines.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Required Skills
- Valid German Class B driving license with a clean record.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry mailbags/parcels (up to 20kg).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good sense of direction and ability to navigate using maps/GPS.
- Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery, courier, or logistics role.
- Familiarity with the Neustadt, Dresden area.
- Basic proficiency in German (B1/B2 level) to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
