Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.
- Connect to various data sources, perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query (M Language).
- Develop and optimize DAX queries for complex calculations and data modeling within Power BI Desktop.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all reports and dashboards.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reporting functionalities.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI report performance, identifying and implementing optimization strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI (including Power Query, DAX, and visualization techniques)
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
- Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView)
- Knowledge of Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory)
