As a Power BI Analyst, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and user-friendly dashboards and reports that empower our business users to make data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.
  • Connect to various data sources, perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query (M Language).
  • Develop and optimize DAX queries for complex calculations and data modeling within Power BI Desktop.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all reports and dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reporting functionalities.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI report performance, identifying and implementing optimization strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI (including Power Query, DAX, and visualization techniques)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field
  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView)
  • Knowledge of Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory)
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis
  • Prior experience in a consulting or international work environment
