Career.zycto is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary and Secondary School Teachers to join our partner schools in the picturesque Chamarel, Black River District. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for primary and/or secondary students across various subjects.
- Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a positive, disciplined, and productive learning environment.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student development and well-being, including participation in parent-teacher meetings.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute actively to school-wide activities and extracurricular programs.
- Integrate technology effectively into lessons to enhance learning experiences and engage students with diverse tools.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture that respects diversity and promotes mutual understanding.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations, ensuring comprehensive coverage of curriculum requirements.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic pursuits, personal growth, and social-emotional development.

- Fluency in English and French (Mauritian Creole proficiency is a significant advantage).

- A Master's degree in Education, or a relevant subject area, demonstrating advanced pedagogical knowledge.
- Experience with international curricula (e.g., Cambridge, IB, IPC) or a strong understanding of global educational standards.
- Proficiency in additional languages, enhancing communication with a diverse student body.
- First Aid and CPR certification, demonstrating preparedness for student welfare.
- Prior experience working in a multi-cultural educational setting.
